APARTMENTS FOR HOLIDAYS IN THE CENTRE OF ROME
 In the heart of Rome, inside the ancient Jewish Ghetto, a quiet island in central Rome, nearby the Campidoglio and Roman Forums and 5 minutes walk to Trastevere district, Campo dei Fiori, Navona square and the Pantheon, just across the ruins of the ancient Marcello’s theatre, in Via del Portico D’Ottavia there is “Palazzo dei Fabii”, a Building built in the 1432 on top of the remains of a Roman market (the Portico of Filippo).
The Baronal Familie of the Fabii owned this building up to the 18century and then it was donated to the monastery of Saint Ambrogio becoming a convent. Only at the begin of the 1900 it was changed into private apartments.
“Palazzo dei Fabii” is one of the best preserved medieval buildings in Rome, its original architecture of the internal court yard makes it one of the main attractions of the all neighburhood. |
